This position will be an assistant to the STRIVE program coordinator and will report to them directly. Duties will include assisting the program coordinator with setting up and tearing down group events. Group events are typically the 3rd Monday of the month, with the assistant volunteering from 5:30pm to 8:30pm.
STRIVE Mentoring Program connects youth (ages 10 to 17) identified by the Wayne County Juvenile Court with a caring adult that can serve as a supportive individual and help them deal with various life challenges including but not limited to social/emotional, academic, personal growth and development.
