Every year on Christmas Day, Catholic Charities prepares and delivers hot meals to thousands of homebound individuals and families in the Greater Cleveland Area with the support of volunteers.
We are looking for volunteers who are available for a few hours on Christmas Day (December 25) to load delivery drivers’ cars with boxed meals.
Where to Report:
Barons Bus Arena at 8:00 a.m.
5310 Hauserman Road, Parma, OH 44130
Park at the back of the lot. The entrance is the door furthest to the left.
Attire:
This will be outdoors so comfortable footwear and weather-appropriate attire are strongly encouraged.
Duties Include:
- Packing volunteers' cars/trucks with meals for delivery
- Directing Traffic
- Distributing Delivery Routes
- Other duties that may arise
Groups are welcome, however, you must sign-up/register individually.
How long is the shift? Typically volunteers work with us until all deliveries are out, which is usually 3-4 hours. However, we are flexible and prefer that all volunteers arrive at 8:00 a.m., even if you have to leave a little early.
Registration is required.
