As the largest resettlement office in Northern Ohio, Catholic Charities Migration & Refugee Services resettles approximately 230 refugees each year in communities throughout Cuyahoga County.
We respect the dignity of each person and provide a supportive environment where each individual and culture is celebrated. Building upon the courage and strength of these newcomers, we seek to empower them to achieve self-sufficiency and independence by offering a variety of supportive programs and services.

Our office provides a number of services to recently arrived refugees as we help them resettle within our local communities. We also extend these services for a total of five years after arrival to assist with adjustment. We currently offer the following programs:

Volunteers are a vital extension of resettlement agency staff. They help refugees in a capacity that isn’t strictly service provider-client; they assist staff in enhancing service for refugees served; they help make Cleveland a more welcoming place!
