The interview gathers demographic information, and screens clients for eligibility for our programs and grant funding. These interviews are given both in person and over the phone. Training on how to give a trauma-informed interview is required for this team. Form Preparation - Assists the paralegals with completing USCIS forms which are assigned by a legal representative. Schedules meetings with clients over the phone or in-person to complete their applications. Training for this team involves shadowing the paralegals and completing the forms under their supervision. Research and writing - Assists the legal representatives with research on case law or country conditions to support their legal arguments, drafts briefs and motions.
